Well, sometimes life throws you a curve ball. I am having surgery on my mouth this Thursday. About 2 1/2 weeks ago, I found a large "bump" (for lack of a better term) in my mouth under my tongue. It is growing from below my teeth and on top of some bone. 

After several x-rays and a ct scan, they still don't know what it is exactly. I have been taking antibiotics for 10 days and it has not responded and actually as become bigger. 

So, I will have it removed and recover over the weekend. The surgeon will do a biopsy, but he is confident that there is nothing cancerous. He just has been baffled by what it could be.
