Weekly Ritual

 Ever since I was a child, I spent a lot of time with my Mama D and Papa. If I wasn't at home with my family, then I was with my grandparents. They would come and get any of the grandkids at the drop of a hat. 

When Tommy and I first got married and he was working nights at the bookstore and served as an RA leader, I continued to spend time with them. Once I begin teaching full time, I only spent Wednesday evenings with them. 

Even though Papa spent several years in a nursing home and  is no longer with us , I have continued to spend time with my grandmother and now I can share that time with Savannah. I just love to see her with Mama D. 

One of their favorite things to is play dominos and I captured the moment on camera tonight.
